Cone fenders
Cone fenders are used worldwide in all kinds of wharfs (e.g. container terminals).
Modifying a circle fender with a conical fender body provides greater deflection resulting in higher energy absorption with similar basic dimensions.
Cone fenders are usually combined with steel plates provided with PE protecting plates. In numerous cases (e.g. strong tidal variations), several systems are fitted one on top of the other.
Chain systems are used for additional securing purposes depending on the size of the particular type of fender.
